We took a break for the month of December but we were back together for our January Stamp Club meeting. I had so much fun making these projects!
1. Stamp
the image (“Congrats”) in VersaMark ink onto Watercolor Paper.
2.
Cover the image with White Stampin’ Emboss
Powder, tap off the excess powder, and heat set the image using the heat tool.
3.
Heavily wash over the stamped image using the
Aqua Painter and plain water – NO INK YET.
4.
With a very wet brush tip, pick up some ink
using the Aqua Painter, and daub it onto the wet area. No need to brush; the
water will carry the ink throughout the washed area.
5.
Repeat step 4 for each color. Always go lightest
color to darkest color.
6.
Gently dab off excess color with a paper towel.
7.
Tie Baker’s Twine around Watercolor Paper and
adhere it to the card base. I found that a stronger adhesive like the Tombow Liquid worked best.
8. Add
Rhinestones.
Hershey's Kisses Holder
I found this idea on Pinterest and followed the link to the Qbee's Quest blog. I followed her directions step by step exactly and I would encourage you to also visit her blog. She did such a great job with her instructions and photos.

1.
Score an 11” x 1”
piece of card stock at 1/4”, 5-1/2” and 10-3/4”.
2.
Draw a pencil
line at 1-3/8”, 4-½”, 6-½” and 9-5/8”.
3.
At the 1-3/8” and
9-5/8” marks, cut slots half the width of the strip, by cutting on either side
of the pencil mark and then nipping of the little strip that remains. Note: The
slots should be approximately 1/16" wide. One slot goes up and the other
slot goes down.
4.
Fold the strip
along the 3 score lines.
5.
Use the bone
folder to slightly score the “V” shape to begin to form the rounded heart
shape. Make sure the pencil marks are inside the heart shape.
6.
Add Tombow Liquid
Adhesive to the left tab and bring it over to the opposite pencil mark. Line
the score line of the tab up with the pencil mark. Hold in place until the glue
holds.
7.
Do the same with
the other tab, bringing it to the opposite pencil mark and interlocking the
slots.
8.
To create the
inserts, begin with a 5”x3” piece of card stock.
9.
Score it along
the long side at 1”, 2”, 3” and 4”. Cut the short side at 1” and 2”, leaving
you with 3 strips.
10.
Fold each strip
roughly into the shape of the number 5.
11.
Put the strips
into the open spaces and add Hershey’s Kisses.
12. Cut
2 arrows using the punch and adhere on each side of the heart.
