The core of Stampin' Up! is stamps and ink. Today's tip is going back to the basics. Stampin' Up!'s ink pads are specially designed to keep the ink at the top of the pad - right where you need it. To do this, the ink pad actually sits in the "lid" and is flipped over when you close it up. This can make opening and closing the ink pads a little tricky at times. My tip that I say quite frequently to guests at my Stamp Camps is to, "push on the dots." See the ink pad below? At the bottom of the image (or towards the front of the top of the pad when it's laying flat) are 3 little impressions. If you push from the front of the pad here, the lid will pop open, slide back a bit and you can flip it around. So, next time you are struggling with that pad, just, "push the dots!"
